Tennessee Soccer Academy
Volunteer with us
Recreational soccer only runs because people give it their Saturdays. There are two ways in — refereeing, which is paid, and coaching a team, which we train and equip you for. Neither needs any experience.
Referee
Paid per game240 games need officials
Officiate recreational games on Saturdays. Most of our officials are 13 to 17 and had never refereed before they started — we train you, kit you out and pay you for every game you work.
- Paid per game, every game
- No experience needed — training provided
- Work the parks and dates that suit you
Volunteer coach
VolunteerClosed for now
Coach a recreational team. You do not need a badge or a playing background: TSA supplies the ten-week session plans, the equipment and a coach shirt, and the curriculum is written so a first-time parent can run it.
- Ten weeks of session plans, written for you
- Equipment and a coach shirt provided
- One practice night a week plus Saturday games
Under 18?
Refereeing is a real first job
Most TSA officials are teenagers. If you are under 18 a parent or guardian completes the sign-up with you and is named on the payment details — we pay by Venmo or cheque, and we work around school and your own games.
