Objectives — what the players will do

Play 1 — starts when the second player arrives
Upside-Down Cone Chaos
Scatter cones everywhere, half standing and half flipped. Two teams, every player dribbling a ball: one team dribbles to cones and flips them UP, the other flips them DOWN. One noisy minute, count the cones, play again. Perfect arrival energy for festival day.
Practice — the one taught activity of the night
Kids' Choice Reload
The players vote for their favorite game of the whole season — Red Light Green Light, Sharks and Minnows, Escape the Den, Monster in the Goal — and you play it one more time. The winners explain the rules to everyone before you start: little leaders in action. Their season, their pick, their rules (almost).
Play two shorter favorites instead of one long one so every vote wins.
The kids coach it — they explain the rules and call the game while you play in it.
Play 2 — always finish playing the real game
Mini World Cup Finals
Short 4v4 games; teams pick country names, choose a captain for each game, and invent a team cheer. Everyone plays every game and everyone captains at least once. Finish with awards for everyone: best trick, best helper, best chase-back, bravest builder, best leader, loudest cheer.

Celebration mode: every player rotates through every diamond spot one last time, every player leads the line for high-fives, every player gets cheered by name, and the season ends with high-fives all around.

A simple, high-energy cone game that works as the arrival activity in Introduce week. It gets U8s smiling and on the ball inside thirty seconds — exactly the Play-phase energy this month should open with. Add a second ball to raise the chaos and the laughter.
