Objectives — what the players will do

Play 1 — starts when the second player arrives
Animal World Cup — Round 1
Tiny teams with animal-nation names the kids choose (Team Cheetah! Team T-Rex!). Short little games on two or three fields, everyone plays every round, no knockouts, no standings — every team gets a roar between rounds.
Practice — the one taught activity of the night
Kids’ Choice Reload
The players vote (loudly) for their favorite games of the season — Pirate Island, Monster in the Goal, Doggy Steals the Bone, Escape the Dragon’s Cave — and you replay the top two, one after the other, with the kids who picked each game out front leading it. Coaches give their most dramatic performances of the year.
If voting stalls, just run Pirate Island — it never misses. Keep every round short and loud.
Let the kids invent one new rule for their favorite game and play their version.
Play 2 — always finish playing the real game
World Cup Finals + Kids vs Parents
One last round of Animal World Cup where every team somehow wins, then the season finale: kids versus parents (parents on their knees, missing every tackle). End in a tunnel of high-fives with every child celebrated by name.

A drill you can copy on the field
A two-way shooting game with fast turnarounds and constant repetitions. Use it in Weeks 2–3 and layer in your Develop-stage constraints: score in a corner zone, or finish with the weaker foot to count double. Keep the pace high so the ignite energy never drops.
For U4: No teams needed — just alternating waves of shooters with a parent fetching balls.
